Las Vegas March Madness 2021 is all about turning every possible restaurant into a mini hoops-viewing party spot. Due to COVID restrictions, the popular, big ballroom parties are out. Still, even if you’re agenda calls for a visit to the mall, you can find spots to duck into and catch the return of NCAA Tournament Basketball.
Welcome to the Miracle Mile Shops. Among the 200-plus places to wear out your credit card are dozens of eateries, and at least a handful of places serving basketball on TV along with beer, booze and blazing hot wings.
FYI: The pandemic claimed March Madness in Las Vegas in 2020. It’s back, boosted by smaller venues and at decreased room nights than years past. Masked and socially distanced, venue capacity in Nevada is 50 percent. Six people are allowed to sit together at a table.
Miracle Mile Shops
Here are five options inside Miracle Mile Shops, according to a spokesperson:
Cabo Wabo Cantina. The viewing party centers around a 200-inch projector screen. Root for underdogs while wolfing down an order of seafood madness nachos, topped with lobster crab and shrimp. A bucket of beer goes for $23.
PBR Rock Bar & Grill. You’ll need to reserve a spot to take advantage of full and half-day viewing packages. Special include exclusive seating and open bar options.
Blondies Sports Bar & Grill. Blondies has more than 60 big-screen TVs and daily Happy Hour specials. Reserve a spot to get in on the action.
Pampas Las Vegas. Check out the special deal where you get a $20 bar upgrade—good for an extra hour of unlimited beer or house wine with any meal purchase.
Buffalo Wild Wings. There are huge HD TVs on every wall, and floating above the bar, along with a seemingly never-ending supply of chicken wings streaming out of the kitchen.
